I purchased Waveform LED lighting for my art studio over a year ago and have been thoroughly satisfied. The units were very easy to install, and I have been highly pleased with everything about the lights. They provide excellent light for my studio, which has improved my productivity substantially, and, of course, they have improved my use of color. Great product all around.
Use the 4000k version and it's bright, has never flickered over a year of use, and has a nice uniform color/quality. Buying 3 more.
I ordered the full spectrum lights to replace all of the fluorescents in my office and the results are amazing. Patients report less headaches and eye strain and it is a much better environment to work in. Highly recommended
Wonderful product just like everything I have ordered from Waveform Lighting. Highly recommended and great customer service.
An excellent value for such a High CRI strip. We keep replacing older LEDs with these as the color accuracy is outstanding.
Excellent ! Performs as advertised. Easy install for a first time DIY installer. Online tutorial was very helpful as was after-purchase support.
Light bulbs make you feel different and better compared to other brands that flicker. Use your phone on slow motion as a tool to detect lights that flicker.
The light these put off is terrific... great CRI, no detectable PWM flicker, no audible noise, good brightness. The issue I am having with two of these bulbs is that they don't seem to like the quality of electricity coming in through my 1970's wiring. To be fair, the sockets in that room are ungrounded (as is about half the home). Both bulbs will produce changing levels of light and give an uneven strobing effect to the room as a result. This makes them entirely unuseable in that room for me. The funny thing is that the Philips Ultra Definition 95CRI bulbs, which look virtually identical, don't have this issue at all. So, I'm guessing that waveform's bulbs are just more sensative to the quality of electrity/grounding in your home. In a perfect world (or a new house) that's fine. For me, it means I have some very expensive bulbs that I can't comfortably use.
Very very professional product. Well packaged and easy to install. The product is very bright with no dark spots! Add the adjustable dimmer if you need more ambiance. If migrating from fluorescent tubes understand that the strips are very flat. Ie if you have an alcove that is more recessed, put the strips on the aluminum enclosures and lay them on wooden blocks so you won’t have shadow areas. Thanks for creating a spectacular product.
This is a nice low level lighting. I actually have a red light i use at night but this is is a nice orange yellow color that feels more like a normal light but without the blue/white in there. A delicious color for evening hours to match that sunset glow.
Very bright, transparent light! I little tricky to mount because the included hardware is meant for it to hang vertically from chains. I ended up using speaker mounts from Amazon with zip ties through the holes meant for the chains. A little janky, but it works perfectly.
These are Chinese-made, poor quality bulbs. I bought six a couple years ago. Three have been replaced under warranty and now it looks like a fourth will need it because it's visibly flickering. The replacements have nothing to do with my electrical because I have used these bulbs in two houses and they have gone bad in both.
It's the highlight of our kitchen remodels when people can turn on their dimmable cabinet lighting. It really is the finishing touch that makes the job.
After watching a YouTube video on how to convert an old fluorescent tube Apollo Portable Lightbox into a high-end LED CRI 99 light-box. I ordered five ABSOLUTE SERIES™ 99 CRI 6500K LED strips, with the 24v power supply, and the must get Filmgrade (TM) Flicker Free LED Dimmer. Everything assembled without any issues. It was an easy plug and play that also required some drilling to use the stainless M3 hardware that attached each strip! It would be nice if Waveform offered a threaded female barrel connector. I ended up purchasing one via Amazon.
All I can say is WOW! It is bright and beautiful. Because it is so bright, I recommend WF’s optional dimmer for use is converting 35mm, 120, and large format negatives into high quality digital files that are color correct. This system save money versus any 99 CRI assembled units which cost well over $1K.
Super solid power supply. Absolutely no flicker on the strips and nice clean output.
Absolutely sold on this company and their products... just need to find more places to put LEDs in the house.
I bought one to replace the bulb in my bedside lamp as a last ditch effort to improve my sleep. Be forewarned: it is YELLOW. I've gotten used to it but it was a bit of a shock at first.
However, I can say I fall asleep faster than ever. Even with meticulous sleep hygiene I suffered from insomnia - which I now believe may have been caused by all the LEDs I'm exposed to daily. Now I fall asleep in about ten minutes.
I'm the sort of person who needs every lamp and overhead light on to feel like I can actually see, but I am seriously considering converting every lamp in the house.
Additionally my eyes feel less strained when I read with this bulb in instead of the normal one. I highly recommend this to anyone with eyestrain and sleep issues.
Good construction, great color and CRI. Output as advertised but possibly lower candella than expected. Plan on hanging them as close to your work surface as possible.
