The perfect near daylight bulb. I say near because i find the 6500k too whitish. The 5000k is perfect. It has just the right amount of warmth without being too 3500k. I am trying the 4000 next to see how we like it. I had removed all our led bulbs last year because of the new information on the issues with too much blue light coming from led bulbs. The halogens we replaced replaced them with looked great but our electric bill increased somewhat although we considered it a small price to pay. Boy was I glad when I found you guys selling your high cri bulbs with a high R9 and the reduced blue in the spectrum. Efficiency and great lighting at long last!!! Keep up the great work.
These lights give great color reproduction in a home art studio. They easily replace current bulbs, and do not burn hot. It would be nice if they were dimmable, but I suppose that may negatively affect their color accuracy.
Seems like solid product, hard to tell if the spectrum output is as advertised but light seem good.
These lights are particularly expensive but the major issue is it takes forever to prepare and then ship them, about two or more weeks…
Great color. No eyestrain. This is coming from a professional portrait painter with 50 years professional experience.
Traded out the old "Home Depot Specials" and the result was like upgrading from a Camry to a BMW. Life is too short to have crummy light.
I tried other brands like Phillips daylight bulbs and even ottlite daylight bulbs. Nothing compares to waveformlighting natural daylight bulbs. The high cri level makes all colors pop to their true color. These bulbs are the perfect blend between warm and cool temp color lighting.
Great for miniature painting like Warhammer 40k or Warhammer age of sigmar. The photo below is using only 1 bulb and you can see the true skill color of my hand and all the detail in the miniature even primed all black. Amazing lighting.
Invested in these lights for my studio. Having the lighting for the last week has made such a difference. I'm able to see true tone and adjust all my formulas according to achieve the best results possible.
I must admit I'm a little disappointed in the product as it is not as advertised. First. the color temperature stated is incorrect. I've come up with 5400K (warmed up 1 hour, when they are cold they are more towards 5200K), versus the 6500K that is advertised. I also find that the output of the light is lacking, however I do not have a lumens meter to see if that claim is correct.
As others have said, this bulb is absolutely perfect for recreating natural light indoors. I ordered one to try, but will now reorder. Congrats on a great product
Bought for my lifelong artist mom who would constantly take her art outside to check colors and then come back in and try and match the best she could by memory. Now she has true outdoor light inside on demand and she is thrilled with the color reproduction.
