I'm a huge fan of LED lights. Most that I have tried are good but have one or two things that are annoying; a small buzz, they don't dim as nicely as I would like, the color isn't quite right. These are great. They are the first LED lights I have used that I can do anything I want with. They dim great. They don't flicker. 4000K is my color temperature sweat spot and they hit it just right. Waveform made a product that is nice and not just energy efficient. I'm going to fill my house with their lights.
Got one too use as a plant light, and it works a treat!
I installed five of the 6500 K 96 CRI bulbs(out of 6 possible) in my home office and I have noticed an improvement in my ability to focus on tasks earlier in the morning and later at night. It certainly keeps me up late too if I need to be working late, which is great if I have a tight deadline or need to work overtime. But notably you need to swap to a lower CCT and fewer bulbs if you want to maintain your circadian rhythm, which I why I didn't install all 6 of them. With the quantity that I installed for the space, which is about 13' x 16', the brightness is really great too. I don't have nearly as much sudden eye strain from going outside as I used to.
I've made multiple purchases from Waveform Lighting. My most recent is the B30 LED full spectrum bulb. I'm using the 5000K bulb for proofing photographic artwork, and the bulb lighting is beautiful. I have a spectrometer, and the light is indeed full spectrum at approximately 5000K as advertised. I've tried other brands of so called 5000K daylight lamps, and determined they were not full spectrum. That's what led me to Waveform Lighting. I would also add that customer service is excellent. They respond to my questions quickly and pleasantly.
I purchased a dozen high CRI lamps from a number of manufacturers. This one was the best at revealing every color in every artwork, photo, plant, and even a random gray cat. It seemed better than a couple CRI 96 and 97 lamps. It did not seem to trend excessively blue like some 4000K lamps.
It's effective at combatting Seattle winter overcast and 16 hour winter nights.
i originally bought these lights for a track extension They changed the room
I then bought and redid my entire track system with them.
They make such a difference in December in Manhattan
Light is primo and these are fabulous for artwork and for general use
The bulbs are, by far, the closet to halogen or incandescent lighting I have used. I will use these ultra high CRI bulbs from now on in my home. Great product and well worth the cost!
I got this bulb because I was tired of low CRI LEDs that blinked like crazy and made my dog restless. I have used a Sekonic C-800U to measure the spectrum response and found it to be 99+. That is almost as good as incandescent bulbs. I like the much cooler tone compared to incandescent bulbs (4000K). I am planning to replace all the LEDs I have with Waveform lighting bulbs.
I’ve juggled light bulbs for over a month looking for clarity and pure color for my art and home decor. Everything seemed to still have a yellow tone, going to higher kelvins gave a blue tone. This bulb is great! It’s enough kelvins to get out of the yellow and not in the blue! Add the high CRI and they are perfect!
I bought these for my “dog room” to be sure to provide daylight for my dogs while I’m at work.
