I purchases some samples to get a feel for what color temperature I liked, and ended up loving the 2700k enough to take the plunge and outfit the entire house. Couldn't be happier with the quality of light. I was also running these head-to-head with some SORAA Radiant 2700k and these WF bulbs have a slightly "rosier" glow, which to me looks much more pleasant for residential lighting.
These lights are excellent, soft and no blinking
3000K bulbs have a great color profile. I've specifically noticed greens and purples look much better compared to my existing 2700K LED lights.
I accidentally found out, while my 14 month old was playing with my iPhone making slow mo videos, that the led bulbs from various brands I was using flickered like crazy and I couldn’t even see it. Surely this is causing some eye strain, headaches and migraines over time. Did some research and ordered a 6 pack of these in 3000k. I immediately felt less strain in my eyes. The 3000k is going to take a little getting used to, up from 2700k but I wanted to try something different. Man, the colors pop nicely though. I hope waveform continues to add more wattages and shapes to the human centric line. I’d fill every fixture in my house if I could get my hands on some 40w equivalents.
It is amazing to experience the difference between a flicker and flicker-free bulb. I have a sensitive nervous system and I noticed a beautiful and peaceful feeling when I turned on the flicker-free light bulb. I was referred to you from Shielded Healing who did a radiation assessment in my home. They tested for wireless radiation, electric fields coming from wires and flicker coming from the lighting. I am so grateful to have been referred to this product. It helps to reduce harmful stressors to my nervous system. My living room feels calm with the flicker-free lighting. I am looking forward to having this lighting throughout our home. Thank you!
I replaced some Phillips non-dimmable 800 lm bulbs with these, and honestly after a few months, I'm switching back to the Phillips. The Waveform bulbs have a very narrow light radius. What I mean is that most of the light output is upwards instead of all around. This left the ceiling of my kithen nook feeling very dark. I have a hanging light. The Phillips non-dimmable are all flicker free too. So having to pick between CRI and light radius, I preferr the light radius. Waveform offers the fillament bulbs, but they are ony 450 lm which again is too dark. If I had to recomment a bulb, I would get the Philips Warm Glow series. They are practiclly flicker free (~90% flicker index) and let you change from 2700K - 2200K.
A very high quality bulb with good color and no flickering
I tried both the 3000K and the 5000K. I think most people using it for home lighting would prefer 3000, as the 5000 might be a little jarring. I like it in the kitchen--bright and energizing. The 3000 feels cozier/warmer.
I purchased and installed the high cri strips for under cabinet kitchen lighting, and absolutely loved the very noticeable high CRI, particularly when compared to lesser quality LED lighting. This is what prompted me to purchase the standard bulbs. Our pendant lighting looked very green and unnatural when compared to the Waveform lighting. Bought these and the color matches perfectly. I also put one i. a family room lamp, and just sooo much better. No more green or purple lights. Very happy!
Can't beat the quality of this light. It's beautiful
