So hard to find good LED lighting that doesnt have a heavy green cast to it. These lights look great. Installed 16'in my bathroom ceiling for a dramatic improvement in light quality, and intensitiy.
We are using LEDs to illuminate Green Tree Python enclosures. Light quality may be important for optimal maintenance of this species. We are running a long-term experiment with these Daylight LEDs (6500K) to address this further.
We Used this for uplighting for our stage. Looks great on camera and blends seamlessly with our conventional lighting. Good and accurate color rendition and quality components. Waveform Lighting is a good one stop shop for LED lighting.
As a volunteer with a local wildlife care agency I’ve come to learn that recovering wildlife does best when their environment causes minimal stress and includes the use of lighted cages. Four elements are critical in the lighting design:
1) good color rendering – so that the food in the cage looks like the food in the wild,
2) high light levels (approximately 1,000 footcandles, roughly equivalent to a shaded day-lit environment),
3) minimal flicker – “flicker-free” as identified in the product description, and
4) minimal heat gain
We were able to satisfy these design elements using Filmgrade White LED strip lights (5600k) and the Filmgrade DC power supply (which provides a “flicker-free” solution as confirmed by the support group). Of course this LED solution is also inexpensive to operate, will likely last for decades, and requires no maintenance.
The LED strips appear to be particularly well made with good materials. They can be easily cut to length and ends soldered together to combine several rows. Moreover, the support group responded to numerous technical questions with relevant information and in a timely manner. Five stars!
In-progress "shift cage" construction photos are included. Note, five rows of new LEDs provide 900 FC and a 6 degree temperature rise over 90 minutes.
Bought the sample strip to test. Will be ordering a full reel to replace lower CRI LED s in a light table for sorting slides.
We built a new Color Review Suite and these lights are exactly what we needed. The build quality is great and the 6500K spec seems to be accurate. Highly recommend.
We ordered these as an alternative to LED puck lights for our kitchen and dining room remodeling project. It is worth the price difference, and we look forward to many years of flicker-free, human-friendly lighting. We're also considering using the same product for lighting under our cabinets in the garage. We highly recommend these products.
I used these light strips in my photo studio for reviewing work coming off the printer. They are really nice.
I sliced these up and ran them in channels throughout our very low basement ceiling. It's overkill maybe for light quality but I work in film and I'm a light snob. I spend a lot of time woodworking in the basement so the higher quality pays off. Probably the best LED light quality in my house right now. Flesh and wood tones look nice.
I’m new to wiring my own lights and only needed a small length, so the starter kit was perfect for me needs. It was so easy to set up! I’m using it as a grow light, so I also found the product sheets very helpful for choosing the type of light. So far it’s work great and seems to be great quality.
