We usually use a medium pressured Hg lamp for photochemical studies. But tried the 365 nm single wavelength LEDs here. They worked quite well. I can't comment on how long they will last, but they are much easier to operate and less of a safety hazard. We still keep these in a vented and closed safety cabinet to run our reactions.
I installed multiple 365nm LED strips in my minivan for purely aesthetic purposes! They installed quick seamlessly to the 12v system, and work great. They flood the vehicle with a discrete and powerful glow, especially in the dark. I didn't realize the difference in quality between these and the other brands until I made the investment. Highly recommended!
I ordered 365nm and 395nm strip UV lights to conduct entomology studies. Haven't done any field studies yet to test which wavelength is better to attract insects but I did check them out using a series of UV dyes. They worked great. Easy to use and can be adapted to different configurations without damage. Also, I had e-mailed the supplier three times with technical questions. I received answers the same day.
I ordered a 1 meter strip of the 365nm LEDs for a prototype printing exposure box. Delivery was VERY prompt and the LEDS work perfectly in my application. Initial tests on my target chemistry have turned out well. The self-adhesive tape holds securely and soldering jumpers between strips was a snap. Will definitely use more of this product in the future.
The realUV LED lights at 365nm are fantastic to show off our uranium glass collection. Florescent tubes pale in comparison. Staff was helpful in answering questions.
I got some LED strip lights from Waveform and some from Alibaba, to compare. My smart phone light meter showed the Waveform strip was putting out twice the lumens.
working as planned in my setup, thank you.
Got exactly output in term of spectral UV emission.
Everything is alright. I must appreciate very fast response even over many time zones.
For a fluorescent mineral collection .. very high UV vs Vis
