Purchased 4 bulbs over 2 years for my lovebirds. They did not last even a year at 8 hrs a day for 1 yr. They are suppose to last 3 to 4 yrs. according to their ads. Emailed then twice but they just ignore you. Do not recoommend for the price.
UPDATE: Josh B. was terrific. He replaced my 2 flood bulbs and that restored my confidence in WaveForm. Thanks for being a terrific co. that stands by it's products. ***** 5 stars
I've been using Waveform lighting for years. It was my quest for an avian bulb that was simple and lasted while using LED technology so the bulbs did not get hot. My initial purchase was for the A19, before the latest E26 BR30 were available. Since there were some problems with the A19 bulbs lasting through the warranty period the company was incredibly genuine and true to keeping their promise that if anything did not work properly during the warranty period they fix the problem and they always have. Quickly and kindly. The new bulbs seem to be holding up well and I am super happy since I rehabilitate birds that there is a good source out there for full spectrum avian bulbs.
Extremely happy with the quality and the light output.
Purchased for my Parrot to supplement daylight......
It's hard to find full-spectrum bulbs that are actually good for parrot feathers and health. Some full-spectrums seem to be just for color. Waveform Lighting sent the bulbs quickly and they arrived in perfect condition. I've ordered from them before and will order from them again. Their bulbs last a long time. Would recommend this website to avian owners.
Having 18 Congo Pairs, I and a friend bought the floodlamps to mimic equatorial light. The birds are more content , as they are much more active and noisy.
Due to a mix up, only 2 of the 12 bulbs that I ordered were initially sent. I contacted customer service, and the rest of the order was on its way with absolutely no trouble. Very rare experience. Waveform Lighting A+++
Works perfectly in my Parakeet Aviary
My wife's quaker parrot is doing much better. She is much more active and her feathers are looking better everyday. I guess she was really low on vitamin D.
