Product Overview
Do you love the look of the classic incandescent bulb? But hate what it does to your utility bill?
Waveform Lighting's got you covered! Our A19 filament LED bulb uses a new style of filament LED technology, which emits light in the same angles and intensities as a traditional incandescent bulb, but using much less energy.
We took this a step further, and designed the bulb around a 95+ CRI rating, which means that the light quality is virtually indistinguishable from a traditional incandescent bulb.
The result? Not only does our bulb look like an incandescent bulb - the light quality, distribution and intensity matches exactly what you would get from incandescent bulb.
I've been disappointed by every other LED bulb I've tried, which tend to make a room feel flat, dull, and depressing. The Centric Home bulbs, though, actually feel like incandescent light. They're great—worth the cost!

My favorite light bulbs
I purchased the 3000K light bulbs to put in a new fixture. They were the perfect shade for me. I liked them so much that I took them out before I moved and replaced them with other bulbs so I could have the Waveform bulbs in my new house.

Perfect light for bathroom
We recently finished a bathroom update and replaced our old "globe bulb" light fixture with two three-bulb light fixtures with small bell-shaped glass shades. I wanted to brighten things up a bit and go full LED, and six of these Ultra High 95 CRI A19 5W LED Filament Bulbs in 3000K turned out to be absolutely perfect. Before ordering I was a bit concerned that the filaments might be too visible and cause shadows on the wall, but the bulbs and glass shades provide a really nice smooth light. My next project is to update light fixtures in our finished basement and I will be ordering more of these bulbs!

Bathroom Vanity
Ordered 4 of these bulbs for a bathroom vanity and I love them! Similar filament bulbs I've tried before now have only lasted a few months before failing, so I'm hoping these are better in that regard. Quality of light is excellent.

Great mimic of incandescent spectrum
These bulbs give off a near perfect incandescent lightbulb spectrum.

Thank you Waveform…
The bulbs make such a difference—natural, clean, quiet light. What a relief. Well worth the investment.

Flicker free
Other LEDs I have tried flickered on my dimmer switch. These have been working great without issue.

Great bulbs
I switched out existing bulbs which were seemingly rated for 2700k with these holding the same rating -- the difference was huge! The old bulbs were much warmer!

not bad, but not a halogen replacement
These are not a direct replacement for a clear halogen bulb, despite claims that the 3000k model is indistinguishable from a halogen bulb. If you want a bright "point source" to use in a fixture with a lot of crystals, they are kind of dull and lack sparkle because the filament parts are so large compared to a halogen. The sparkle or "dazzle" just isn't there.
They aren't really ideal to use in place of a frosted halogen bulb, either, as they cast shadows inside a lamp shade. Some LED filament bulbs like this have the filaments angled, which I think would solve the issue.
Finally, the "40 watt" replacement is a bit misleading. It has an output more like a 29 watt than a 43 watt. Maybe an old 40 watt incandescent that is halfway to burned out.
The color performance is great. However, it does not get 'warmer' as the bulb dims like a halogen or even incandescent does. To be fair, the one LED bulb I tried that "mimics" this turn to a sickly yellowed hue when dimmed.
I did eventually find use for the two that I bought - one in an old desk lamp, and one on our rarely-used back porch light, where their shortcomings don't matter. But I'm not planning to buy any more.

Great first impression!
We have tried many LED bulbs but kept going back to 100% incandescent up until this point. These are the first LED bulbs that will remain in our fixtures, simply because of light quality. We bought a new light fixture that requires LED bulbs and was planning to return it, but I found waveform lighting and decided to give them a try. I’m so glad we did! The two things I’ve noticed are that red and orange are more vivid and easier to differentiate between compared to incandescent. Since these bulbs take less power, they are a bit more sensitive to power variations so there is more of a flicker when the well pump or freezer turns on but I’ve seen much worse from other LED bulbs. I will be replacing all of the bulbs in the house with waveform lighting over time.
