The D50 bulb is good for print viewing and color matching

The waveform D50 works well for print viewing. I am also using them for more general studio lighting.
I'm going to try the 3500K version in living areas as I like how strobe-free these bulbs are, unlike some less expensive brands. Highly recommend as a quality and good value lighting solution.

Nice D50 Bulb, But Not Impressed with SSI

I bought this bulb to illuminate prints as they come off of my Epson P900 inkjet printer, and for that purpose it works quite well. I measured a CCT of 5045K and CRIa of 97.0 (R9 93) with a Sekonic C-800-U spectrometer, so in spec there. However, the SSI was only 77 [CIE D50], a bit disappointing. I have attached a measured spectrum. I think the SSI value suffers from a drop-off in the greens and the significant blue spike that is characteristic of this type of LED bulb. I don't think I would use this bulb for photographic purposes.

Great quality LED bulb

I've been using these bulbs for several years, it's working great.

Exactly what I needed.

I bought a BenQ for color management, so I needed D50 lighting to compare prints. I bought a 6-pack of D50 800-lumen bulbs for my editing room lighting. Then, I was asked to take pictures at our town's Doughnuts with Santa event. So I bought a couple of softboxes that take four bulbs and used the Waveform bulbs. Worked great! It could have been a bit brighter, but I used ISO 640 and got great shots. My next purchase will be a 6-pack of 1600-lumen bulbs for the softboxes.

I looked at a lot of options. Most say nothing about spectral accuracy (let alone CRI). I spent a lot of money on my BenQ and my Epson P900 - why skimp on lighting? I am convinced these are the bulbs that are the lights for photographers who care about color management.
