Got one of these to put in my bathroom, color quality is good! It's difficult to find 95 CRI in a consumer product, so I was really happy to find this. Will be buying more for other bathrooms.
These are fine light bulbs, work great for taking photos of products which was one of the main reasons I bought them. I did also replace all my task lights in my workshop (I work on instruments and do detailed work) and I do wish they were a bit brighter for that. I am considering getting some warmer a21 base bulbs for that purpose and keeping these just for taking pictures as the color seems to be great for that.
I was looking for an LED bulb that had no flicker and would offer the correct colors for my product photography. All the LED bulbs that I purchased at my local retail stores could not provide the correct color in my photo as when viewing the product in person. I also needed a bulb that would allow me to shoot slow-motion video shorts without the LED flicker in the video. I searched the internet looking for a light that would solve my dilemmas and came across the WaveForm Lighting web page. I reached out and their customer service people quickly responded to my emails and with my limited budget, recommend their FilmGrade™ Flicker-Free A19 LED Bulb 5600K. I purchased a pack of six and was so thrilled with the results that in the last two years I've ordered 12 more! I use them around my home and they are a far superior LED light. After almost 2 years of constant use, they are still going strong! I'm usually replacing box store bulbs within 18 months. I highly recommend them for all your home lighting needs and product photography needs. My brother is an artist and he was telling me he was limited to painting during the day, I sent him two bulbs and he sent me night shots of the lighting he was using and the bulbs I sent him, it was amazing how accurate the color was of the FilmGrade™ Flicker-Free A19 LED Bulb 5600K bulbs. He said it truly was the exact color. The reason for the accurate color representation is the high 95+ CRI (Color Rendering Index). When I take a photo of a pair of vintage jeans my photos now disclose the subtle color changes in the wear and tear, now I have happy customers!!! I can't recommend these bulbs enough or WaveForm Lighting enough. Spend a little bit more and get way more in value than you do from a local retail establishment. It's completely worth every penny. I've included a photo of an antique hand-painted Limoge plate and the colors render perfectly. Thank you WaveForm for a quality product. I'm a customer for life! ❤️ 🙌🏼 ❤️👍🏼 ❤️🙌🏼
Exactly what I’ve been looking for not green led lights!
I got these for my bathroom to simulate natural sunlight during my morning routine. Works like a charm.
I'm thinking about outfitting my whole house with them .. though I would miss out on dimmable/adjustable temp from my Hue lights.
Either way, I highly recommend these bulbs and will be using them anywhere I don't need adjustable ones!
I recently purchased the full spectrum waveform bulbs and the light is so nice to work and read under. I can certainly see the difference. I'm grateful for this company that produces these quality bulbs. I'm actually about to order more as I wanted to try a half dozen first. Now I'm going to change out all my lamps.
These lights seem to have no flickering as described. I like the company providing thorough technical details and the photometric reports. I plan to purchase more bulbs.
I am sensitive to flicker and tried one light bulb just to see how it would work. I'm back to order a pack of six!
This bulb gives clean light but does not seem as accurate as the 3200k film grade led light strip - those are exceptionall, these don't appear as clean. I know there is 200k difference in color temp, but I suspect the led film grade strip lights are also higher CRI... just judging by eye.
Ordered both the D50 and FilmGrade 5600K E27 bulbs to light my studio/working area where I'll be handling many paintings and prints. Very easy to install and the results seen on the artwork are stunning.
