I ordered 4 lamps and one had to be replaced due to a manufacturing issue. The replacement arrived quickly. The lamps light up my workbench perfectly which I need for adjusting colors in my violin varnishing process.
CRI 99 strip LED produces ample light of super high quality. Used channel diffusers for our application which did not detract from light quality.
Planning to buy more.
These lights have completely transformed my office (no natural light) from a lifeless fluorescent prison to a vibrant, colorful, and inviting place. The change really has made a world of difference! Excellent color rendering (including reds) and very bright.
Very impressed with the color rendering. Very big difference from my old florescent bulbs.
I ordered the 4000k T8 tubes to replace the fluorescent lights in my kitchen. The quality of light they produce is stellar. No green tinge, great rendering of reds; a very well balanced neutral white light.
My only problem with them is that they flicker. Without a ballast, or with a magnetic ballast, the flicker is intolerable and clearly visible. Even with a high frequency electronic ballast, the lights flicker at the ballast frequency. A photosensor and an oscilloscope clearly show it. Some may say that this is of no concern, as the flicker frequency is too high for humans to perceive. But, as a life-long sufferer of migraines, nausea, and eye pain due to flickering light sources, I'd much prefer to know that the interior lighting in my home is truly flicker-free.
I'm on the fence as to whether to keep them or return them. Flicker-free T8 options are available from other sources, but I am certain that the quality of light will not be as high. I wish I didn't have to choose between high R1 through R15 values or flicker. Why can't these tubes be designed to be flicker-free, as are some of the A19 and strip sources you offer?
I ordered 95 CRI T8 LED tubes to replace fluorescent tubes in the kitchen and to replace fluorescent tubes in my plant stand. For both myself and the plants, I wanted full spectrum, bright lights. I'm getting older and I find I am only comfortable in a bright room if I have tasks to do. This is particularly true in the kitchen where I may be using knives! I like the kitchen light better with the LED tubes.
The Waveform Lighting site has a lot of information on it which helped me understand much more about full spectrum, temperature, and flicker. I had a couple questions and my emails were answered promptly. I'm looking forward to buying more lights.
The perfect bulb for a nice crisp white light (4000k).
No yellow, no blue and perfect for our application...roasting coffee.
Coffee is roasted by color, and these bulbs are giving us excellent accuracy.
Our order went smoothly and arrived in a few days.
